Well, so much has been going on since I've last posted! The morning before Thanksgiving, I was kicked out of bed around 5 am in order to drive with my Dad down to the trail head of White Rock to meet up with his buddy Chris at 6:30. Ugh! For Thanksgiving, we went up to Oklahoma City and had a huge feast with the family. Not only was the weather gorgeous, but the Cowboys won that day as well!
Since then, I've been working and riding hard. I went down to White Rock from my house one morning and it was soooo cold that my water bottles froze by the time I got down to the lake. (I was wondering why I didn't see anyone out.) Even though it was chilly, I still got sun burnt on my nose.

We actually got the Christmas tree to hang sideways. It took a lot of bailing wire, duct tape, and super glue.
This year, we celebrated Christmas on the 24th. Instead of stressing out and cooking a ton of food, we had pizza from BJ's and ate it with cloth napkins. (Thanks for the idea Ann!) We all also piled into the new Forester and fought our way into St. Joseph's for 5:00 pm mass.
What made the whole evening extremely agonizing was the scrabble game that lasted 3 hours! It was so painful, but I don't think anyone wanted to be the first to throw in the towel. That would sure show a sign of weakness.
